Paul Bippus GmbH - Environmental Principles
The Paul Bippus environmental policy is made known to each and every employee
and is obligatory for every member of staff. Each employee is responsible for
achieving our environmental protection goals. Environmental protection for us
is not merely fulfilling legal and official conditions. Therefore all
coworkers are encouraged to propose improvements on their own initiative and
avail of all necessary measures to implement such improvements.
Guidelines for Environmental Policy
Laws:
We are committed to consistent compliance with all existing
environmental laws and regulations concerning our business activities.
Improvement:
We regard our task to be the continuous improvement of
our environmental performance. The improvements refer to the areas of
environmental aspects of our activities and environmental management.
Environmental Awareness:
We encourage employee environmental
awareness at all corporate levels via information, appropriate training
measures and regularly recurring environmental audits.
Safety:
Our goal is to create products which are safe to manufacture,
safe to use and safe to dispose. The greatest care is taken for the safety of
the factory operations. This also includes risk minimization and preventative
measures.
Environmental Surveillance:
We implement autonomous surveillance of
all environmental consequences at the locations in Oberndorf Boll and
Epfendorf regarding facilities, products, emissions and disposal.
Furthermore, we are working purposefully on waste avoidance and waste
separation.
Minimization:
We are committed to limiting the human and
environmental burden to the absolutely necessary levels in manufacturing,
storage, transport, sales, marketing and applications of products.
Targets for 2002
We will establish a documented Environmental Management System according to
DIN EN ISO 14001 in 2002, so that environmental protection will be
understandably and systematically organized for everyone. The effectiveness
shall be confirmed through certification.
We are checking the volume of our emissions regarding air, water and earth in
order to identify risks of environmental burdening, comply with legal demands
and initiate specific measures for reduction.
We will support our employees in the improvement of our environmental
performance through specific training measures.
